It's been a very long time since I've said anything here so it seems odd that breaking the silence would be asking for a favor.
The Globe and Mail is looking for a guest photographer that they will take to the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver for the full 2 weeks. They are allowing the public to vote and then they will select their own favorite from within the top 50.
I only found out about this a couple days ago and figured there would be no chance as the contest has been running for well over a month. However, I'm surprised to be quickly gaining grounds to that magic top 50 and have already reached the top 100.
Voters are allowed to vote once every single day. With over a week to go, there is still room to catch up so it's actually starting to look like a realistic goal. An interesting experiment to see if I can actually receive the votes needed to even be considered.
If you would like to vote and help, please go here: http://journalismdream.theglobeandmail.com/entry_photo.asp?id=932
