From a 13,500 photo sample of my 2008 Lightroom Library, I have used these lenses:
- Canon 17-40L f4 - 5,751 photos
- Canon 70-200L f4 IS - 4,692 photos
- Canon 50mm f1.8 - 1,484 photos
- Canon 100mm f2.8 - 212 photos
- the rest were taken with pocket point and shoot cameras
And from that, the most common apertures are:
- f/4 - 3,597 photos
- f/8 - 1,941 photos
- f/7 - 905 photos
- f/5.6 - 895 photos
- f/4.5 - 828 photos
And the real kicker that tells me I need a newer camera. Half of these photos are ISO 400 and above. The 5DmkII is burning a hole in the back of my mind.
- ISO 100 - 3,527 photos
- ISO 400 - 2,817 photos
- ISO 800 - 2,435 photos
- ISO 1600 - 1,773 photos
- ISO 200 - 1,731 photos

How about common focal lengths?

Isaac: focal length doesn't appear to be searchable in Lightroom
