New Apple Displays Look Really Good
An early look at the new Apple Display is promising because it appears that they have solved a design flaw for laptop users with external displays. From what I can see.
- The power has it's own cord so it does not need to go to the laptop first before splitting off.
- The power brick is gone lowering the clutter.
- No firewire hub. One less cable.
- The monitor can power the MacBook eliminating another cable and power brick.
Although much better cable management is not worth $1000 (double the price of a Dell display), I do look forward to having a much better option when my next upgrade becomes necessary.
I do like my current Apple Display but the mess of cables required is a bit on the ridiculous side.

This new set does look good but still think the black keys make it look like a cheap Acer PC or something.
It would have been even cooler if the I could plug my ethernet into the monitor and it also traveled to the MacBook in the single cable.
