Recently the Mozilla Store has been relaunched powered by GatewayCDI but there seems to be something wrong with their International shipping rates.
At checkout, the invoice says your shipping costs will be TBD (To Be Determined). Ok, it can't be that much right? Well, if you open the rft document about their International shipping rates, you'll see some of the highest rates I have ever seen.
5 lbs shipped to Canada (UPS International Express) is $37.73 US. Some of their examples include:
- $6 Coffee Mug to Germany: Total $111.35
- $15 T-Shirt to Australia: Total $109.81
- $72 worth of Coffee Mugs to Brazil: Total $477.06
Am I missing something here? Over $50 USD for a $6 CD to be shipped to Canada is ridiculous.
So read the fine print because this could have been one real expensive CD purchase.

They do seem excessive - $53 for 5lb shipping to the UK. And there's no indication of the weight of the item until you've created an account with them.
Apparently GatewayCDI are to open a UK branch which should make things a bit cheaper for Europe, though.

I think they said somewhere they'll first send you an e-mail warning of the high fees and wait for confirmation before shipping (this only applies to outside US orders), but it definately is way too high a price...
