I have finally heard the very rare and hard to get 30 minute 1988 Peter and the Wolf story by Weird Al thanks to Steven Perry.
This warped classical children's record featuring narration and poems written by "Weird Al" Yankovic and music arranged, composed and performed by synthesizer whiz Wendy Carlos. Includes a bizarre re-telling of "Peter And The Wolf" and the Saint-Saens/Ogden Nash-inspired "Carnival Of The Animals - Part II." [WeirdAl.com]
Not sure how to react. It's different, very instramental and not at all what I expected but still something any Weird Al fan would want to hear at least once. The CD is out of print and currently sells for an incredible $100 US on eBay.
