In essence, Mr Van Damme, I would like to request you, with due respect, to consider coming to BOTSWANA and shooting a movie in my country, Just like you have produced brilliant movies in other various environments and countries. Two movies have been shot from this country in the past i.e. GODS MUST BE CRAZY'" both part I and II. I meet RVD one time before he started with the wwe. He told me and my friends that he thought that they were cousins somewhere down the line. I think he just said that because we thought that he was Jean. We were disappointed when we found out other wise. But they do look alike...........especially when they were younger.

Am a nigerian and the view of Nigerians about JCVD and RVD is they are brothers. I like both of them but JCVD is my best and favorite man ever. I have watched all his movies and still searching for more to watch.

No RVD and JCVD are not related, for RVD's real name is Rob Szatkowski and JCVD full name is Jean Claude Camille François Van Varenberg, yes there is some resemblence between them (although RVD is probably much larger than JCVD)

Jean Claude Van Damme vs Rob Van Dam match? Will it ever happen? No, they're not related one way or form. I have spoken to RVD in person about 25 minutes (Trek Expo 2006). The main subject is about JC Van Damme. Will be JC Van Damme Vs Rob Van Dam match in the future? Rvd told me and other fans, he was in Sci-Fi convention to meet fans and (L.A., Cali.) his hours were about 1:30pm to 3:30pm and JCVD was 3:30pm to 5:30. So RVD was getting ready to leave the convention he saw JCVD surrounded with fans, so RVD had his people contact his people to take photo together. Time went by and no answer.
RVD saw line of people getting photo's with JCVD, RVD went to the line and the fans notice him and push him to the front of the line so the fans take photos of RVD & JCVD together.
JCVD saw RVD dead in his eyes giving him stone cold feeling down his spine and JCVD told agent thats it with photos, but fans wanted to 1 PHOTO! 1 PHOTO! The photo op never happen. WWE-never say never. Anything might happen in WWE. This meeting happen on June 23, 2006.

I'm a big RVD fan since 1999. I always wonder if JCVD vs RVD match will ever happen. This can be reality match some day in the future with WWE and Vince Mcmahon help to bring this match come true. For this to come true we make internet noise so V. Mcmahon hears it loud and clear, make this happen. In few months i'll have Replica WWE Spinning World Title with RVD engraving on it. I took a high Quality photo with RVD, I got to hold the real title on my left shoulder. As I pick up the title, man this thing is heavy Rob, RVD smile at me, I told him got to get one of these belts of own. Thanks to WWE I've seen RVD in a house show when RVD & Kane were World Tag Team Champs. Now I took a pix with him and talk to him. It was rush!!!
